What we do and how we work

Since the very beginnings of aviation, fabric covering has been a specialisation all of its own. It has continually evolved, so high quality fabric covering is far more exacting than many expect.

Fabric covering, using period techniques and traditional materials such as linen and cotton, is one of our principal specialisations. Methods are adapted according to the age, country of origin, and type of aircraft, as well as to required performance.

Before the practical work begins, we research the materials originally used in the construction of the aircraft. We then seek the fabric manufacturer most appropriate to match these requirements, so that the weaving process best matches the original fabric.

Over the years and through the various projects with which we have been involved, we have accumulated a wealth of experience, allowing us to produce coverings that most closely match the original while respecting modern flight safety standards.
